If you are looking for a seafood meal so fresh that it almost jumps off the plate, you'll find it at Splash restaurant on the Esplanade.
Owners, Malcolm and Megan McKay are passionate about the quality and freshness of their delicious seafood and, as a 3rd generation fisherman, Malcolm has a sharp eye for great Australian sourced seafood. Splash was opened in 2002 and overlooks the Cairns Esplanade and Trinity Inlet. The restaurant is decorated in a modern maritime theme, showcasing charts and photos of the McKay family's long fishing history.
The staff are locals who are dedicated to making your dining experience relaxed and pleasurable. Children are welcome, with special children's menus, highchairs, colour-in-menus and crayons to keep them occupied. Whether it's an easy family lunch, a romantic dinner, or a group celebration, this is the place to make a 'splash'.
